Remember that scene from Crocodile Dundee: "That`s not a knife. THIS is a knife"? Having returned late last night from balmy Gloucestershire I`m inclined to say "that isn`t snow, THIS is snow". Immense is about the best I can come up with at this time of night. No-one can remember such quantities of the stuff falling out of the sky, easily three foot deep where it`s been undisturbed and because of the low temperatures stunningly beautiful, fields full of diamonds.
