Nearly didn`t go out at all as we were shrouded in a grey cocoon of cloud all day but this is where dogs add that extra bit of motivation so set off we did, late afternoon as a cold breeze sprang up, shifting the cloud a little and setting the gates a-wailing.

A bit of a shock after the three or four days of stunning spring weather which we took advantage of on Friday to climb a hill - Ben Vrackie,
https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/perthshire/ben-vrackie.shtml,the obvious one to walk up as we were down to Pitlochry anyway for a gig that evening.

Forest walks and bridges,

Pitlochry, looking back,

the target summit ahead,

and one amazing view after another.

More bridges back down in Pitlochry......

....not to mention the best fish and chips ever.

The gig was pretty good too. :) http://moishesbagel.com/

Back to today, the wind getting stronger as we turned for home, somehow blowing the cloud back so visibility by the time we got home was virtually nil. Fire stays on for a bit longer.
