Back in the woods on a perfect early autumn afternoon: fresh breeze, warm sun, blue sky and that poignant sweet and sour scent of nature beginning the slow retreat to hibernation and regeneration. Not that there were many visible signs - only a single yellowing leaf
and one lethargic bee.
Taken best part of a week to recover from the fun, frolics and glitter - especially the glitter-fest which is @ShambalaFest* - of stewarding for Oxfam. In fact exactly a week ago, as I write, I still had half an hour of my last shift left, on a fire tower overlooking the festivities.
All weathers, all temperatures,
a dragon called Elsie (naturally)
amazing food
acrobatics
- everywhere acrobatics
and a relatively high level of randomness, colour, noise, music....and, best of all, excellent company.
