Grass too long, sun too hot, flies too numerous....so today, in slightly cooler conditions, we eschewed the woods and went on a road trip, round Broom Hill via a rather splendid mushroom - yup, just the one - and a distant view of white sails ......

Tarmac`s hard on the legs though......
