but the geese are beginning to look up to the sky and there`s a definite end of summer feel to things.

Wild and wonderful this afternoon: September in another guise. Sun still warm but a strong wind that sends the clouds scudding over, the trees thrashing around, the backdrop still green with flashes of purple thistle, pink rose-bay willow herb, dandelion and the burnt orange of rowan berries.
The bees are still doing their best
but the geese are beginning to look up to the sky and there`s a definite end of summer feel to things.
