So many things to think about this morning forgot them all and went for an early walk instead. Freezing wind - woolly hat once more required - and low, grey sky but good yomping once we got going.
Priorities for the day re-ordered on the way round and guess what - at least half of it will wait until next week.

And dog keen to help: always enthusiastically collects a bit of firewood - needs a bit of help to work out how to get it home.......

.....doh!

At last! No rain, no wind,no snow, a lukewarm but determined sun,one lark per square yard of sky and you could almost forget all the mud underfoot.
Diamond encrusted grasses,

light and dark, shade and shadow, silhouettes

and blinged-up trees.

Makes you stand up straighter and take deep breaths.

Rain, work, work, rain, more rain, more work - eurgh, must be February. Today though a brisk and business like sort of winter`s day....though more rain and wind forecast for the weekend.
However, lots of blues - blue hills in the distance, blue sky between the clouds,


blue-grey lichens

and new growth on the pine trees looking...blue-ish. Birds giving it laldy and sun with a bit of warmth in the woods....could almost be (whisper it) a touch of S****g.........
......until tomorrow anyway.
